In 2020, we launched The Artisan Center model in Gulu, Uganda. Our studio spaces are open to the community to discover their unlimited creative talent, develop businesses, and pursue their artistic passions within an inclusive community.
* Currently our Media Studio in Pece, Gulu, Uganda is the HQ for our media programs.

Artisan Global offers a wide array of creative vocational programming for the community from batik, fashion design, media and more. We create specific workshops and impact programs that support youth, families & economically disadvantaged artisans in the community.

Our 2025 Focus

Batik
Launched in 2022, our Artisan Batik program is expanding into a full brand and vocational training program to reach more makers by 2026! Our highly skilled team pours passion into batik designs, creating lasting income for artisans and families by blending rich cultural traditions with modern markets.

Media
Artisan Global offers media programs in Gulu, Uganda, through Artisan Studios, training vulnerable youth in photography, graphic design, filmmaking, and storytelling to foster creative economy skills. Led by Ouma Stephen, this space is becoming a headquarters for media projects in Northern Uganda.
